[ I'm working on a community project to help a local theatre group for an outreach play. What makes this special is that 6 senior citizens in their 50s to 70s, with no prior acting experience were selected and put through a 3 month acting course.
Having just seen the full dress rehearsal, I must say the audience will be in for a treat. It is light & entertaining.
It's part of a mini-bazar focusing on the environment, and the play should be sometime between 7-9pm. I will strongly recommend friends to bring their parents to this event.It is an excellent showcase of how the old folks can also learn a difficult skill like acting.there are lots of sweat behind a simple play.
Please kindly pass this messsage to others whom u think may be interested. All the videos in the play are edited by me. including the trailer posted in youtube. ]

BTW I be back from Norway on SAT evening, will attend this on SUN night if I have the energy :)

18AUG08 MON - breakfast @hotel:
Ferry from Krokeide (Bergen) to Hufthamar (Austevoll), many people drive in to work everyday. We were almost late, 2 'xiao-cha-bor' walking n looking around for the ticket counter. The officer with luminous green vest waved at us, asked us to get in, the ticket-conductor came to us when ferry departed. Haha in Singapore where got 'xian shang che, hou bu piao', it's always 'xian bu piao, hou shang che' hahaha... :
so good hor, the people drive in and park their vehicle in the ferry, then come up to take breakfast, then drive to work when reach the island:

Checked-in Bekkjarvik Gjestgiveri (guesthouse) after work.

Sheltered from the ocean and securely anchored in maritime history, Bekkjarvik and its snug harbour are located by the ancient shipping lane between Bergen and Haugesund. The guesthouse has looked after travellers for more than 300 years and given them shelter, warmth and food. The guesthouse was established when Danish king Christian IV ordered guesthouses built every half and full day's travel along the coastal shipping lane. There was also a barrel factory in Bekkjarvil, producing thousands of barrels, as well as a distillery, bakery, general store and wooden racks for drying seines.

Dinner at the only small eating-house below our room, near the guesthouse main building, NOK172 (abt SGD46), cheaper than having dinner in the guesthouse restaurant, still expensive lor:
haha i even have the Camomile Tea (Annette gave me in FEB08) in my luggage, not the whole bottle la, just a little in the dark grey container, the kettle jug so handly lor, come with 2cups, the little container and 1teaspoon, all fit into the kettle jug:

Dinner at the guesthouse, we were invited to the Accounting Department Party. ChyunFang n i shared the 'Wild Sheep' (The guesthouse kitchen's specialty, the local wild sheep that has been munching heather on the heaths and can be traced back to the time of the Vikings. Modern 'Austevollians' are not wild at all; rather through hard work they have built Austevoll into the most important fisheries and aquaculture municipality in Norway.), so thoughtful, they served it in 2 plates:

23AUG08 SAT - Catching speed boat at 8:25am to Bergen, the guesthouse serving breakfast at 9am on weekends, so we had this packeted breakfast prepared by the guesthouse:
