09NOV06 THUR - Took half-day leave this afternoon to bring DB & XB for follow-up at SNEC. This is not really follow-up on Cataract Surgeries as they both had their cataract surgeries done five years ago, right eyes on 18APR01 & left eyes on 24OCT01.
I have been bringing them for follow-up about 2 to 3 times a year per the ophthalmologist's instructions. Since they both are Diabetics, it will be crucial to have regular eye examination to prevent loss of sight due to Diabetic Retinopathy.
Diabetic Retinopathy is a disorder of the retinal blood vessels resulting from diabetes mellitus. The incidence of diabetic retinopathy increases with the duration of diabetes.
Successful treatment of diabetic retinopathy depends on early detection and treatment. All diabetics are advised to control their diabetes with diet and medication to delay or prevent the development of diabetic retinopathy and other complications.
[BTW their very first appointment was on 27MAR01 and they were both prescribed with Eye-Drop to apply regularly days before their surgeries. (That day someone told me her ... took last minute leave ... for cataract surgery ..., I just wanna hahaha...)]
Heehee bought DB & XB their favourite "GuCaiKuai 韭菜'米果'" ($0.80 each) for snack from Bugis Village:

Some said "Alamak supper after yoga, defeats the purpose lei!"
I said "Nope nope nope, my purpose of doing yoga is not to reduce weight, the benefits are far more than this, dun belittle yoga hor! hahaha......"
BTW no food 3 hours before doing yoga, so I usually eat my dinner (of course much simple meal compares to today's supper), half an hour after doing yoga, on TUE & THUR nights.
After 12am, it's 10th Nov, it's ST's birthday, we are 28 every year hahaha...

10NOV06 FRI - Again at my bro's place, for dinner then to bring XB for acupuncture. Angel wanna paint her nails & lips, I rejected. Told her got to let her nails breathe,... no lip-stick also pretty pretty,... I like the pic of Angel & AhMah posing back to back best:
