btw, PaPa's birthday = Deepavali = Hindu month of Kartik (usually in OCT or NOV)
my parents' 生辰八字 so matching hor, i guess...
Vesak Day is observed by Buddhists, commemorating the birth and enlightenment of Buddha and his entry into Nirvana.
Deepavali or Divali or the festival of lights is observed by Hindus in recognition of the triumph of good over evil in the seventh month of the Hindu calendar.

see the wounds on both renyi's knees, she fell on Sunday while we were walking from Bukit Timah Hill to Beauty World Center, heading for our brunch... she fell and pulled angel down, angel was wearing long pants then, slight wound with huge 'blue-black' on angel's knees (see the pic after next) but her pants torn... :
