30 APR 2011 SAT - JB [谢韶光's Three O Cafe 圆缘园]

went JB again :) haha 3 times in a month, on 1st, 22nd & 30th april 2011...
instead of the planned ktv with st & ll, we went makan at Xie ShaoGuang's (谢韶光) vegetarian cafe [ Three O Cafe ; 圆缘园 ] in JB, followed by shopping at Jusco (ll got last minute company event, so st brought her mama along)

Nasi Lemak with mock chicken:

we ordered 3 plates of nasi lemak (add egg), the last plate no more nasi lemak so just plain rice with the same mock ikan bilis, peanut, cucumber and chilli, plus egg with no added mock meat... i missed taking a pic of that :)
the nasi lemak rice is yummy, very light coconut milk? with the nice lemongrass fragrant... i heart it :)
the chilli is yummy for vegetarian standard, not easy to cook yummy vegetarian chilli lor... haha too spicy for st n st's mama, so i had 3 portions of chilli, i heart it :)

we wanna order Ba Kut Teh (肉骨茶) but no more, so we had tomato soup instead, the serving is just nice for us [st hearts this] :

this is the 糖水 for today, 大麦薏米, we had a bowl each [st's mama hearts this] :

total spending RM29.10 :)

from the Jusco supermarket... different kind of mangoes plus jambu... yum yum i heart these too :)

22APR2011 GOOD FRI - JB City Square

went jb city sq jalan jalan with 2 of my little ones - yihui & yiting...
we left home at around 10+am, reached city sq at around 1+pm, haha took us 3 hours to reach.
we took bus 960 to '10 mile junction' wanna change to 160 or 170, but both buses were packed and the bus drivers did not stop. therefore we changed our plan, took 960 to woodlands bus interchange and change to 950. so lucky... we had seats for all the journeys:
- bt panjang to '10 mile junction' to woodlands bus interchange to sg customs to my customs
- my customs to sg customs to woodlands interchange to bt panjang

2pm late lunch - shabu shabu (inside the food court @level 5), cheap and yummy:

we were not hungry at 6+pm, so we skipped our dinner and bought home beard papa's cream puff and CHEESECAKE (cathy's indulgence) for supper instead. um... e b-papa no much varieties n not as yummy as those i had in sg n hk :

i chanced upon this keropok (3 for RM5) at the trolley-cart stall at jb sentral, at last i found it. i was looking high n low at the supermarket in city sq during my last trip on 01APR11 but cannot find lor. my ex-colleague (tong) recommended this to me at maha exhibition last november, it is YUMMY!

[24APR11 PS: aiya this is not that yummy one lor :( this is the dry type, the yummy one is the 'dam' kind i think.]

17APR2011 SUN - this QingMing...

for the first time, we visited 'AhMa at her tomb' on 2 consecutive Sundays...

清明时节雨纷纷
路上行人欲断魂
借问酒家何处有
牧童遥指杏花村

last sunday, we were rushing through the ritual as the sky was dark when we reached. it started to rain when we were half way through the ritual. we had to run to our car to hide from the rain. we had to continue in a rush with the ritual when the rain was not that heavy. though completed but half here half there and rushed this rushed that... we felt that... um... we don't feel good!
so we decided then, to do 'it' again but in a simplified way next week, that is today, though the QingMing Festival has already ended... we felt that we should not just 'do it for the sake of doing'... 
i heart my siblings for having the same thinking as me :)

so today, we leisurely completed the simplified ritual :)

my AhMa's 'house' not bad hor, she has got trees in her 'garden', one 水梅 and the other one i dunno what, nice? :

not sure if this is the same tree-lizard? every year we find a tree-lizard in her 'garden', just one!

hahaha no la... birthday treat for my eldest little one today... nowadays students have even busier schedule than working adults... if not for the 'meet-parents-day' at her school, dunno when i can have lunch with her lol...

after meeting her teacher in pjc, we went bpp jack's place...

we ordered 2 different set lunch to share:

here it is, the email i received from the 'stranger' after the telephone call from that 'stranger' on 03APR2011 Sunday ==> a surprise birthday party on 09APR2011 Saturday, for one of my buddies, terra:

so touching hor... big hug to celine, for the effort, not easy lor with our busy work schedule... genuine friendship!
we are not celebrities whereby doing such is part of the publicity and they can get all sorts of professional helps in organising such...
unlike a man doing such for his girl friend in order to win her heart
... this is purely friendship, with no attached expectation of any returns...

frankly i almost forgotten about this, in below pic, terra & i visited cindy then. cindy was on maternity confinement and she did not forget my birthday, even prepared a birthday cake for me when she was supposed to have a good rest. thanks cindy my buddy, hughug...
if the 'touching level' can be measured, the level gets higher as i look back now, thank you for 'planting such a special forever growing sweet memory seed' then [ :( aiya i was so puffy then ] :

i am thankful to have so many lovely people around me, guess this explains why i am such a nice person hahaha...

haha i confirm i have poor memory...
-constance & amino chatted separately with me last year via fb-chat about the past, i can't remember...
-cindy was sharing so much past events/happenings with me on that day, i can't remember...
i thought i can't remember these because of 'too long ago', haha cindy even said 'so you can only remember your pre-u life'... which i thought so...
but come to think about it, i also can't remember much on that... i think 1 or 2 years back, garrick was chatting with me about our pre-u class movie outing, i also can't remember lei...
... why am i having so poor memory huh?

back to this secret mission, thank you celine... besides indirectly bringing back so much fond memories, also created/ initiated the chance for us to get in touch with our old friends, most importantly instilling the positive energy around us...

i will share the slideshow and the pics taken by the professional looking photographer (one of the organiser) when i get them from celine :) haha celine has yet to get in touch with me again on the $ issue, guess she must be super busy with her work now after the past weeks attention on this secret mission...
