i think last night got rain but not my area, i think i heard thunder [soft ones not loud] around my waking up time... i was thinking whether to wake up so early or not... is it going to rain that we cannot trek today?... if so might as well continue my sleep... paisay hor lame excuse... then i thought to myself if rain cannot trek in MacRitchie, we can still go any HDB flats around there to 'climb stairs'... so stop finding excuses to be lazy ;)
lucky i managed to stop the lazy thoughts... st told me first thing she did this morning when she woke up is to check her cellphone to see if i sms her to say it seems like going to rain... let's take a break today... haha if any of us initiate to cancel today's trek, we would not have covered this today [ H A B C D E C B K J A H ==> about 10.3 km + approximately 1 km ]

this is the HUGE chewing gum tree...
... the upper portion of the HUGE chewing gum tree
1142 wow another tree growing horizontally? but kanna chopped! dunno if this is the same kind of leaning tree that we saw last thursday

as usual, milo no ice, then shower, then take 130 to jalan besar, lunch then meet raj (chariot) for the briefing of our nepal trip
1352 lunch at new century food court along jalan besar, heehee this is the only stall with queue, so we joined the queue... prawn kway tiao with pig tail and ribs... not bad but the soup very sweet, a bit artificially sweet...
