Annapurna Base Camp Trek - Day 04 of 12
Chuile 2245m – Siprong 1830m – Ghurjung 2050m - Chhomrong 1950m
about 4 hours [lunch at Moon Light Lodge, Chhomrong]
Chuile… down steep steps through corn & millet fields to Siprong… old suspension bridge over Khumnu Khola… up the village of Ghurjung, pass by the school… pass through the yards of several homes and lodges… cross wooden bridge… walk in & out of side valleys to Dhiklyo Danda where the Ghandruk-Chhomrong trail joins the route… steep climb to crest a ridge… pass Taglung & trail from Jhinu… round the ridge arrive at Chhomrong [Moon Light Lodge]

0844 passed by a house, got 3 sisters, i gave them each a candy... the youngest one asked for more and said she has 3 sisters... hahaha... anyway i gave her another 3 candies... this is the 3 sisters' dog

... challenging lor, must take out trekking boots, outer pants, then long john, ... in wet toilet... took her quite a while, yuba got worry asked me if st got diarrhea...
... before continuing our walk, saw 3 siblings (2 girls & 1 boy) getting ready to go school... i gave them each a candy ;)

0939 when i 'distribute' the candies here, outside the school... yuba helped by telling them 'one each'... the 3 siblings so honest lor, never come forward to take the second candy from me... the 3 children in navy sweater are the 3 honest siblings... LOVE them... heehee i gave them another candy each before leaving ;)
0939 a toddler at the 'stone fencing' of the school... i did not miss giving him a candy ;)
we heard yuba saying 'babu' quite often, especially when i distributing candies... so we asked him...... babu is 'ah boy'... what about girl?... nani is 'ah girl' :)
0941 this nani so cute... we could 'hear her runnning steps' from the second level... so i took out a candy and waited, suddenly 'no sound'... then her mama called her from ground level... here she comes...

1156 note the babu (ah boy) circled in purple... here i wanna share with you the sweet sweet story that i mentioned earlier this morning... i saw him from far while i stopped to take the pic after this...
1156 ... after taking this pic.. i turned back... babu (ah boy) no longer there :(
... then as i approached nearer his house... guess what? he ran out and gave me a big pink flower... and st got one too, a yellow one... SO SWEET! :)
hahaha... this is my little babu... so far the youngest man who gave me flower muahahaha...
heehee how could i just give him one candy! he got 2 candies instead ;) ... sweet encounter, made our day hahaha :)
these are the flowers... hahaha st said not fair mine so big & hers so small... hahaha i fat she thin mah lol...

1221 amir would carry our main backpacks, set off ahead of us every morning... so as to reach our final destination of the day as early as possible to secure a room for us... i am always so happy to see amir when he returned with our room key in his hand... upon seeing him implies that we are not far from our final destination of the day :) he will also cheerily clapped his hands to encourage us upon seeing us... he always offers to carry our day backpack for us, we always can manage them ourselves :)

while waiting for our lunch... a chinese girl 'heard' us the chinese around... came forward to chat with us, she is from china wenzhou, mid-twenties... she came pokhara alone from india, joined a japanese family, completed ABC... wow! they very fast pace, no porter,... putting up here today & tomorrow to relax, also because here cheaper :)... she commented ours very slow... hahaha 'different people progress in different ways' mah lol

... 'when the going gets tough, the tough get going'... so true? :)
1401 after lunch we bought a roll of toilet paper for our runny nose as the napkins are too rough for our tender skin around the nose... just nice lor... we have a luxury toilet here! wow so comfortable... ease my accumulated few days of mild constipation hahaha
... we had hot shower, then washed laundry... no laundry luck, started drizzling even before we finished washing our laundry :(
1701 our room... at the far end on the 2nd level
1702 heehee st brought 2 'laundry ropes with hoop-fasteners' from home (from daiso)... so we had an extra line of laundry here, outside our room :)
1703 haha outside no more poles to hoop the other laundry rope... so we had another line of laundry inside our room :)
we bought a pot of hot water everyday
