Annapurna Base Camp Trek - Day 05 of 12
Chhomrong 1950m – Sinuwa 2340m – Bamboo 2190m – Dovan 2505m
about 6.5 hours inclusive of 1 hour lunch break [Trekking Guest House, Bamboo]
Chhomrong… descend on stone staircase… cross Chhomrong Khola on a swaying suspension bridge… climb out of the side valley through forests of bamboo, rhododendron & … up on rocky trail to Bhanuwa… up to Sinuwa… up in forests to a stone-paved trail… descend a long, steep & slippery stone staircase into a deep bamboo & rhododendron forest to arrive at Bamboo… steep climb through stands of bamboo, rhododendron forest up the side of the canyon… up the stone-paved trail to Dovan [Dovan Guest House ==> slept in tent]

1006 just... sensitive nose ==> runny nose ==> irritated throat ==> bad cough [lucky i'd standby med from dr lee]... just... no big deal :)
1013 me 闭目养神 while waiting for my lemon tea... note the angmoh at far right with his guide... our pace about the same, always met along the way... so i am calling him 'the angmoh guy of our pace' :)

1331 me... digging folded toilet roll to wipe my runny nose... or... keeping the used toilet roll after wiping my runny nose... frequently performing such along the trail hahaha :)
... amir back from dovan with a not so good news... rooms & tents full BUT guest house owner agreed to put up the last & only one tent for us... yuba was so apologetic while st & i were so excited over st's maiden sleep in tent... i ever slept in tent la, many many years ago... haha primary 6 camping :)

here is the last place to have hot shower... must pay for the hot shower... RS150 each (about SGD2.50)

1817 i needed hot soupy meal because of my sensitive nose, mountain menu only have veg noodle soup (= instant noodle, aka 'maggie mee'), i have veg noodle soup for every lunches, can't possibly take 'maggie mee' again for dinner... so i usually have minestrone or tomato soup (i heart the sour sour taste) plus spaghetti for dinner :)
... it started to rain when we were having our dinner... oops our laundry!... we thought too late to keep... we will be drenched... even if we keep the wet laundry, no place to hang lor... so just leave it...

... yuba came to take our breakfast order for tomorrow... mentioned our laundry, we said just leave it :)
... we brushed our teeth before going back to our tent
[we brought along our toothbrush when we leave our tent for dinner... just need to be more organised and plan ahead when living in inconvenience :)]
1851 hahaha st & i had a good laugh when we see this upon entering our tent... we were still hahaha'ing about st's undergarments [here i did not hang mine outside, just laid them on my backpack inside the tent] when yuba came to our tent to explain... so nice of yuba and amir lor... they transferred our laundry from outdoor to indoor for us when it rained while we were having dinner :)
1956 must take pic of st's maiden sleep in tent... hahaha the camera shutter woke her up to take more pics...

... yuba suggested us covering our head with cap or scarf when sleeping in case got insect bite... so hot lor, i cannot tahan so much attachment lor, suffocating... lucky me... no attachment no bites :)
