we are taking flight at 2330hr... so we have 1 full day to spend in kathmandu today... we just wanna walk to hotel harati and roam around there to the local market place... have a cup of masala tea at hotel harati before heading back to Hotel Marshyangdi for check-out at 12pm...

so we quickly retraced... have difficulties retracing... st looked through the pictures in her camera... managed to find our way back by recognising the raddish stall that she captured earlier in her camera (see the pic at 0937hr)... lol......

1145 we were back at Hotel Marshyangdi... requested for a late check-out.... granted 1 hour only hahaha... so by 1pm :(
1255 ready for check-out after a quick shower... we left our luggages in the room because no lift and we were at level 4... this is at the side building which has no lift.... handed the key to the reception, told her to arrange for bell boy to pick up our luggages from the room and to keep for us for pick up later as we are only leaving for the airport at 7pm
1305 we saw sarkee having lunch with his 3 UK guests in the hotel restaurant... he waved at us and we went up... guess what he told us?... our flight tonight is cancelled! the next available is on the next day same timing... i thought he was just joking with us... he said yuba is in the nepal air office to get the new itinerary for us...... what a joke lor... our arriving flight cancelled, the nepal air counter staff at KL airport arranged for us to take thai air, en-route bkk and we arrived in kathmandu late (less than 2 hour delay la)... and now our departing flight cancelled also! we gonna take the next day flight... lol... sarkee introduced his UK guests to us and we chatted while waiting for yuba...
1320 soon yuba came with the revised itinerary... but we needed a letter from nepal air for our insurance claim... sarkee asked us to follow yuba to nepal air office to get it in late afternoon or the next morning... yuba was so kind to suggest us waiting at the hotel while he went to run the errands...
Hotel Marshyangdi was fully booked... they arranged for us to put up at fortune hotel which is few minutes walk into the alley from the right... while we still have all meals provided at Hotel Marshyangdi... soon sarkee & his guests were leaving... guess who we saw? the uncle driver who drove us to lumbini then pokhara... he was so happy to see us... haha i reckon that from his 'widely spreading upward lips' smile... lol :)
we had our lunch at Hotel Marshyangdi while waiting for yuba...
1338 today buffet lunch is north indian cuisine (there was a big group of indians... not trekkers... in executive suit attire)... yum yum...

1530 yuba came back with this letter from nepal air
we had a good chat (managed to ask him about the pics i took this morning) before he and the Hotel Marshyangdi staff helped us checking in to fortune hotel... guess what? we can't find our luggages!... after searching high n low... i suspected they were still in the room and i was right :)... told us fully booked cannot let us check out late... but 3 hours after we checked out, our luggages still in the room :)

1807 dinner at Hotel Marshyangdi... our favorite nepali dal bhat... yum yum though just chicken, not the mutton that we requested :)
