Annapurna Base Camp Trek - Day 09 of 12

Sinuwa 2340m – Chhomrong 1950m – Jhinu (Hot Spring) 1760m

about 3.5 hours [lunch at Tibet Guest House, Jhinu 1760m]

Sinuwa… gradual descent to the Chhomrong Khola… up up stone staircase to reach Chhomrong… steep descent to Jhinu [Tibet Guest House]
 
Jhinu [Tibet Guest House]… 20 minutes down to reach Hot Spring at the bank of the Modi Khola… 30 minutes of shower-soak-shower… 30 minutes up to Tibet Guest House

1145 before arriving at our guest house (tibet guest house), we met 'the angmoh guy of our pace' again, he was having drinks at his guest house :)

... waiting for our lunch to be served... a trekker about to leave after his lunch, asked if i am a japanese... i thought he is from japan lor... he said he from korea... i greeted him 'ann-yong-ha-sae-yo'... he returned with  '...... ...... ...... -sae-yo'... hahaha i dun understand la :)
[just checked with yiting... goodbye is 'ann-yong-hee-ke-sae-yo'... so i guess he said '...... ...... goodbye'... hahaha]

1300 right/left foot different position of the blisters... plus the invisible numbness at the ball of my big toes, different level of numbness, left big toe numbness very mild only...
==> the 'report book' of what kind of path i trekked... for example i will exert more strength on my left foot in fear of falling down the cliff on my right, weight/gravity always on left foot and never/lightly on right foot... what kind of path?... ascend or descend?... will have different impact on our feet :)

[btw my big toes have been numb during the trip, to be exact from day 3 till now (i first felt/noticed the numbness on 12oct night)... i met dr lee on 17nov, asked him if he has any medicine for such... he said no medicine... due to the pressure... could take up to six months or so to repair itself....
the numbness & mild tingling have not spread to my other toes, neither grown within the big toes... it doesn't hurt la, just feels very strange lor...]

1440 ;) my 'da yi ma visited me' (menstruation) after my lunch at ABC... so only my feet got to enjoy the hot spring...

1506 ... did i conceal my envy of st (at her rejuvenation) well? lol... [naughty st... reminded me that i was the one so excited about the hot spring and kept reminding her to bring swim-suit before the trip...]

on our way up to Tibet Guest House, we met the '2 china men+1 china girl', they were on their way down to enjoy the hot spring :)

1540 back to Tibet Guest House... rest/talk... shower...

1630 typical hot shower... some guest houses have the gas tank inside the shower room hor... worrying lor, everytimes while showering, i couldn't help not worrying about... will it explode?... i dun wanna die burnt n naked lei...

1736 drizzling... yuba reminded us to keep our laundry... so transferred from outdoor to indoor :)

1837 this is known as spring roll when in the mountain... not curry puff hor ;)... inside spring roll ingredients, just the outside wrap pattern not the typical pattern... the potato wedges & salad very yummy too...

1842 'wasabi topping' i brought from home (from daiso)... note the 'fried-egg-pieces', we ordered 'egg fried rice', i think the cook forgotten to add egg, yuba & amir are always so attentive, they noted that... so we got a plate of 'fried-egg-pieces' to add in seperately :)
